The Hampton Inn & Suites Folsom consistently receives positive feedback for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location near shopping and dining. While some guests appreciate the complimentary breakfast and coffee, recurring concerns include inconsistent bed comfort and occasional issues with bathroom cleanliness. Overall, it’s a solid choice for travelers, especially those needing a reliable and well-located base.
Clean rooms, a little out dated but still very nice. Front desk is very helpful and polite. Lobby is really nice and the breakfast is good. In a nice area, I would say here again.
Right off of 50. Quiet hotel. Right off of East Bidwell, which is a main thoroughfare. Close to plenty of great restaurants and shopping. Comfortable beds. CLEAN. Good coffee.
It sucks I have to leave such a low review because the beds were literally hard as wood. I kept checking to see if I was just laying on a box spring it was so bad. The only way I could sleep was by laying down a pillow longways to awkwardly lay on so my spine had something soft. I had driven twelve hours to get here and I had to get up at 6am for an event the next day. Got no sleep. Hotels make enough money to have decent mattresses. Kind of the whole point of them.
I had an enjoyable weekend stay at this Hampton Inn in Folsom located conveniently across from Costco and several open air malls with a plethora of dining choices. Rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is so-so with a few notable items: coffee superior to Starbucks and scrambled eggs are worthy of mentioning. Clean, ample room, plenty of parking, all good. On the downside, the king size bed was too soft for me. I am more accustomed to a foam mattress that is firm.
Front desk staff was especially pleasant and helpful. Location is next to Highway 50 and about a 15 min drive to old town Folsom. Hotel is very close to chain restaurants and a Whole Foods. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty standard, but good. Parking was plentiful and complimentary. Would definitely stay here again.
You get what you pay for. I know they don’t clean rooms everyday but we were just asking for beds to be made. Then I see maids in the hallway and it’s a small hotel wish I could say no I can’t do something at my job
Solid place to stay! Not a luxury hotel but it really works. Really nice staff, clean rooms and good prices. Would definitely stay again.
Main reason for my mid review of Hamptons is because my room smelled like cigarettes. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My colleague and I enjoyed the breakfast. Finally the location was convenient for us with many dining options nearby.
I travel 3 weeks of every month these days and have stayed at the Hampton Inn Folsom several times. Each time it is a good experience-the rooms are quiet and clean (not fancy or foo foo), the hotel is safe and in a location close to good restaurants and amenities. What is really nice are the people here-Max has been the night clerk on duty each time and is friendly, helpful and personable. The morning team is always a great too. Many Hamptons don’t have coffee out before 0600; this one does. And they have hot water for tea at night and fresh coffee. So many times it’s tepid or gross. The little shop is well stocked. These little things and especially the nice folks make a big difference. Will for sure stay here again as I keep needing to be back for work.
Pretty good, but bathroom didn't seem as clean as it should have been, specifically there was hair all over the counter.
